Our Leadership Framework
Our model of leadership is family
We believe that the best way to understand church leadership is as a family, with fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters all preferring one-another in love and supporting one-another into God’s purposes. We are all part of this family and we all have a part to play.
We believe in servant leadership
“But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant.” Matthew 20:26.
Leading well is about carrying responsibility and serving and releasing others into God's plans.
We believe in team
Rather than having one small team of leaders, we want to recognise, release and support many to serve in their gifting, grow in their calling and lead others to Jesus.
We believe we all have something to bring
Romans 12:6-8 expresses it this way-
We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; 7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
